We look forward to drumming with you this season!
One drum, one dance, one heart,
Jeff and Barbara
Your instructors: Jeff Hanna and Barbara Gail, partners in life and work, are owners of
The Rhythm Inlet. Opened in 1995 in Mt. Vernon, Maine, they expanded The Rhythm Inlet
to Nokomis, Florida in September, 2005. Barbara and Jeff study about and travel to
rhythmic cultures, and enjoy sharing their knowledge and skills with students and the
general public. Their retail store has gained attention and respect from players, performers,
teachers, students, and enthusiasts from around the U.S. and abroad. Their high quality
classes, workshops, and school programs create a positive learning experience for all.
Today they teach, perform, sell, service, repair, educate, and generally spread the joys of
rhythm and movement to people of all ages, abilities and challenges, in Maine and Florida.

Every Saturday morning!
The Rhythm Inlet brings its Drum Store on Wheels to Venice
Every Saturday, from 8am 'til noon, our "Blue Bus Drum Store on Wheels" adds a musical
element to the Venice Farmer's Market. Come see the interesting new instruments Jeff's
been special ordering, or just stop by and say hi! The market welcomes some jamming,
so feel free to play a little ditty! Or a little sumpin'!
On the island, Centennial Park, corner of Tampa and Nokomis.
